ABOUT ME
I'm Celia, yoga instructor and creator of Matha Yoga. As a busy mom of two young kids, I know how hard it is to find time for yourself. I started Matha to help moms easily incorporate the stress-reducing & health enhancing benefits of yoga into their daily lives. With a passion for health and wellness, I hold a degree in Health, Food & Nutrition, as well as certifications in Hatha, Prenatal, Vinyasa and Kids yoga. For over 20 years now, yoga has enabled me to be more present, more compassionate, more loving and more peaceful—helping me navigate through the challenges of parenthood, relationships and chaos of life. Situated in Venice Beach, I incorporate a variety of traditional practices in movement, breath and meditation to help you feel balanced, both mentally and physically. When I’m not teaching yoga or running around with my kids, I find joy in the kitchen cooking and baking up plant-based recipes. I'd love to share my passion for yoga with you!

Quick, effective yoga sequences made for the busy mama that will sculpt the body and calm the mind. 20 minutes.
HATHA YOGA
26+2 Yoga method is a hatha yoga sequence for beginners of all ages consisting of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises proven to heal pain, help with injury & illness, maximize athletic performance and improve overall wellbeing. 60-90 minutes.
KIDS YOGA
Special sequences for littles to introduce them to yoga postures and mindful meditation using stories, books and music for a fun adventure. Custom classes available upon request. 30 minutes.
MAMA YOGA
Prenatal yoga designed to support mamas-to-be on their individual pregnancy journeys, from conception all the way to birth, along with Postnatal yoga to help mamas build strength, restore and reconnect with their body after birth. 30-45 minutes.
